About The Case History Program

Notice: In order to improve the Case History experience we are currently updating our cases. Some cases may be unavailable at this time because they are in the process of being improved.

Beginning January 1, 2012 requests for all cases will only be made using the online request form. All payments must be made online by debit or credit card prior to the case being shipped. No other form of payment will be accepted after this time. The price of all cases will be $40.00.

Designed to enhance Ohio’s Social Studies Academic Content standards, the Case History program is targeted for students at the elementary or middle school grade level. All cases include objects and images that relate to Ohio’s unique history. The objects in these cases are provided to inspire creative use in the classroom and are meant to encourage the application of 21st Century Skills to history and social studies curriculum.

Cases are available on a first reserve, first served basis and are loaned for a two week period beginning on Monday. Cases must be reserved at least two weeks before the requested date to ensure availability. A $40.00 fee will be charged per case to cover administrative expenses and maintenance of the cases. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the borrower.

For any additional information please contact Becki Trivison at rtrivison@ohiohistory.org.
