Marking Ohio

Marking Ohio's History is a book that is for the Ohio historian or Ohio classroom equally. It is adaptable to any grade teaching many aspects of Ohio's History. Of the hundreds of Ohio's historic markers, 25 were chosen because of their topics and locations. Lesson plans were then written by a group of social studies experts. For each chosen marker there is location indicator, a marker description, suggested related activities, a glossary or terms, and suggested reading on the topic. Historical pictures and related images taken from the Ohio Historical Society's Archives/Library complete each presentation. Printed in color, this book is 60 pages.
