Facilities Information
Chaperones: one adult per 15 students.
The museum and restrooms are wheelchair accessible.

Some assistance may be needed on the grounds.

Picnic shelters are available for eating lunch. Restrooms are located near the shelter. Many schools bring outdoor games to play during the lunch period.

Fort Laurens is sometimes coupled with a tour of nearby Zoar Village or Schoenbrunn.

Museum Shop on site
There is a Museum Shop on site. Extra time should be allowed for shopping.

Hours of Operation
9:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., Wednesday through Saturday
12:00 - 5:00 p.m., Sunday

$3.00 per student; $3.00 per chaperon; teachers & bus drivers are free

Location
Fort Laurens is at the south edge of Bolivar, in Tuscarawas County, at 11067 Ft. Laurens Rd. (County Road 102) about 1/2 mile south of State Route 212. Exit I-77 at State Route 212 (Exit 93).

Bus Driver's Instructions
Buses should drop students off at the parking area in front of the museum.

Bus parking is in the lot.

If you will be delayed in arriving at your appointed time, please call 330-874-2059 or 800-262-6195.

Bus drivers admitted free into Fort Laurens.
