Facilities Information
Chaperones: One adult per 15 students.
The buildings, where possible, are handicapped accessible, some assistance may be required in some
areas.
There are vending machines and an eating facility located on the plaza level of the Ohio Historical
Center and in the Teacher's Park between the Ohio Village and the Center.
Museum Shop on site
Allow extra time to visit the Museum Shop in the Ohio Historical Center. There is a wide range of
merchandise including souvenirs, books, and educational materials that focus on a wide range of Ohio
history.
Hours of Operation
The Ohio Village is open only on specific dates for special events and school programming which are
itemized in Tours. It is closed at all other times.
Admission
$3.00 per student; $3.00 per chaperon; teachers & bus drivers are free
Location
The Ohio Village is located on the grounds of the Historical Center complex at the intersection of
I-71N and Seventeenth Avenue (exit 111) in Columbus, OH.
Bus Driver's Instructions
Stop at the booth. Drive to the lower level entrance to unload students. Send in a teacher to
register. Students will be escorted to the Ohio Village. The bus can park along the outer edge of
the parking lot.
