Fort Hill
To schedule your class visit please call 937-587-2796. Tours are offered Monday through Friday.
Two thousand years ago, the Hopewell Culture constructed a hilltop enclosure more than a mile long. This earthwork at Fort Hill is one of the best-preserved prehistoric Indian hilltop enclosures in North America.
Immediately south of the glacial boundary, at the western edge of the Allegheny Plateau, the hills of this nature preserve also are home to a diverse collection of geologic features, flora, and fauna.
