Tour: Self-Guided Tour (216 k)
Tours will include discussions involving the various theories and interpretations of the effigy mound's purpose, the process of constructing the earthwork, a look at the Adena Culture, as well as the geological history of the area. Students will rotate among the museum, walk around the earthwork, and participate in a hands-on activity (spear throwing with atlatl).
