Ohio's First Cultures (September through March) (58 k)
During this presentation, students will become familiarized with the four known cultures of people who first inhabited Ohio. They will be able to examine actual or reproduction artifacts of this period. This Outreach Program can be presented in your classroom if you are within a 45-mile radius of Columbus.

Ohio Rocks and Minerals (September through March) (64 k)
This presentation is a hands-on, laboratory workshop for elementary students. Students will learn to classify specimens using scientific methods. This Outreach Program can be presented in your classroom if you are within a 45-mile radius of Columbus.

American Indian Tribes of Ohio's Past (September through March) (58 k)
During this presentation students will learn about some of the cultural products and practices of Ohio's historic American Indian tribes. Students will see that the Indians depicted on television and in the movies are quite different from those who lived in what is now Ohio. Illustrations and hands-on objects will be brought for the students to examine. This Outreach Program can be presented in your classroom if you are within a 45-mile radius of Columbus.

Settling the Ohio Frontier (September through March) (58 k)
The pioneer period in Ohio was brief, spanning from the late 1700s through early statehood. This presentation examines the first settlers of Ohio - why they chose to move west, the preparation for the journey, their lifestyles, and their relations with the American Indians. This Outreach Program can be presented in your classroom is you are within a 45-mile radius of Columbus.

Animals that Go Bump in the Night (September through March) (57 k)
Nocturnal animals are the subject of this hands-on program designed for K through 2nd grades. Students will see preserved animals and will be able to touch skins of several species. This Outreach Program can be presented in your classroom if you are within a 45-mile radius of Columbus.

So You Think You Know Ohio (September through March) (58 k)
This program is an interactive trivia game about the state of Ohio by which students are challenged by questions dealing with famous people, mapping skills, government, important events, symbols, and more. This Outreach Program can be presented in your classroom is you are within a 45-mile radius of Columbus.
