Using the Ohio Social Studies Academic Content Standards, the Ohio
Historical Society has tailored educational programs to enhance subject
matter that is sometimes difficult to convey in the classroom. By
visiting one or many of the 60 of the Societyís sites, students can have
hands on experiences that will strengthen their understanding of these
